Donation Methods We Accept
Credit or Debit Card
One Time Donations
You will receive your e-receipt once the transaction has been processed.
Recurring Donations
Deductions will be made to your credit/debit card based on your selected donation frequency, on the first Tuesday of the month. If the first deduction attempt fails, then we will make subsequent attempts on the following Tuesday.

- Log in to your bank via online banking or the mobile banking app.
- Scan the QR code above, or select PayNow, tap on UEN (Unique Entity Number), and enter S65SS0033F. “Singapore Cancer Society” will automatically appear if the UEN is keyed in correctly.

Please download, complete, and mail the original hardcopy of the GIRO form to us. The approval process will take approximately 2 months. Upon approval, deductions will be made on the 25th of every month.

Making a CPF Nomination
You may wish to speak with your accountant, financial planner, or lawyer to make arrangements to bequeath part or all of your estate in support of SCS’ work.
There are two ways to make a CPF Nomination:
- In-person Make an appointment at any CPF regional office and complete the nomination form in the presence of CPF staff.
- Online nomination
Submit your CPF Nomination via the CPF website using your Singpass.

How is my donation used?
All donations go into the Singapore Cancer Society’s General Fund, which supports a wide range of critical programmes. Your gift helps us provide cancer awareness and prevention initiatives, free cancer screening, financial assistance, rehabilitation, psychological support, cancer support services, and home hospice care.

Is my donation tax deductible?
Yes. Donations to the Singapore Cancer Society (SCS) are tax-deductible if you provide your full NRIC, FIN, or UEN. We will submit your donation details directly to the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS), and the deduction will automatically be reflected in your tax assessment next year.
There is no need to declare your donation in your income tax return, as IRAS no longer accepts claims based on tax-deductible receipts.

How do I know if my donation is safe?
Giving is powerful, but we should also make sure that our donations are going to benefit the people or causes we want to support.

Learn how to safeguard yourself against scams. With the prevalence of scam calls, we ask that you take precautions and be informed of the protocols undertaken by the Singapore Cancer Society (SCS).
Phishing is a type of cyber-attack via Email, SMS or Phone Call for scammers to trick victims into revealing sensitive information such as login credentials, credit card information, or bank account details. We maintain controls to protect our network and system from cyber security threats. Our staff abide by strict protocols and procedures in safeguarding your donations, transactions and ensures your personal data are only verified for official purposes.
Here are some tips to help you identify and verify the legitimacy of sources.
1. Be Alert:
- Do not provide sensitive personal information (like usernames and passwords) over email or SMS.
- Watch for email or SMS that originates from unknown/misleading sources, domains or senders. Be careful of malicious sites.
- Inspect URLs carefully. Ensure you are accessing our secure online donation portal via org.sg website:
2. Know Our Protocols:
You may receive a phone call from our staff when your submitted donation form is incomplete. When a staff calls to verify the details of your donation, he/she will ask for your:
- Full name
- NRIC/FIN (the last 4 characters only)
- Mobile number
When you call us to process your donation via credit/debit card; we will request for:
- Cardholder’s name as per the credit/debit card for which the donation is to be deducted from
- Credit/debit card 16-digit numbers
- Credit/debit card expiry date
We will never ask for the CVV number of your card or one-time password (OTP).
