UnSEEn follows Samuel, a man with a simple philosophy: mind your own business, don’t look too closely, and keep moving. When Grace, a quick-witted Spirit Guide with opinions she isn’t shy about sharing, decides Samuel is her next assignment, his carefully maintained obliviousness starts to crack.
Together, they move through a world full of people carrying burdens they never asked for. What begins as a light-hearted and humorous encounter gradually unfolds into a reflection on empathy, connection, and what it truly means to see another person.
An original dance theatre production by Singapore Cancer Society, UnSEEn weaves movement, character, and story to explore the silent, invisible burdens that shape the cancer journey.
Among the performers are 18 cancer survivors and patients from Singapore Cancer Society’s own support groups. Their voices, their truths, and their resilience are woven into every scene.
Light-hearted yet deeply impactful, UnSEEn is ultimately a story about connection, hope, and the good that stirs within us when we finally choose to look.
