1. This Contest commences on 02 December 2021, 0900HRS to 12 December 2021, 1500HRS, both dates inclusive.

2. Employees of Singapore Cancer Society, their immediate families (including spouses, children, parents, brothers, and sisters), any persons professionally associated with this Contest as well as commercial customers and bulk subscription customers, are not eligible to participate in this Contest.

Contest Mechanics

Participants will have to do the following during the Contest Period:

At 1500HRS on the 13 December 2021, 10 lucky winners will be picked from the eligible participants.


10 winners will be picked to win a $10 Starbucks gift card each and limited edition souvenirs.

  • Singapore Cancer Society shall not be deemed to be the seller of the Prize. The Prize shall be subject to such other terms and conditions as may be imposed by the relevant sponsors, merchants and/or suppliers of the Prize. The Winners agree to be bound by such Prize Terms.
  • The Prize, or any part thereof, shall not be transferable, exchangeable, redeemable, or substituted for cash or other benefits.
  • Singapore Cancer Society reserves the right, at any time in its sole and absolute discretion, to substitute, withdraw, add to, or alter the Prize or any part thereof without prior notice.
  • Acceptance of the Prize shall constitute a release and discharge of Singapore Cancer Society by the Winners from any and all liability, claims, demands, causes of action, and/or damages which the Winners may have, whether known or unknown at the present time, of any nature whatsoever, arising out of or relating to: (i) the Contest, (ii) personal injury and/or property damage, theft or loss suffered by the Winners and/or his or her companion as a result of the use and/or enjoyment of the Prize, and/or (iii) any tax liabilities in relation to the Contest, Prize and/or use or enjoyment of the same.


The Winner will be notified via Facebook within seven (7) days after the Contest. In the event a chosen Winner cannot be contacted via Facebook messages within 3 working days, another Winner will be picked as a replacement.

The winner will collect the prize at Admiralty MRT Station within 2 weeks of notification.

If the Winner fails to respond in accordance with Singapore Cancer Society’s notification by the deadline specified, that Winner shall be deemed to have forfeited the Prize, and no further correspondence will be entertained under any circumstances.

The Winner shall be required to sign an acknowledgement of acceptance of all the Terms and release of liability form in respect of their use of the Prize, and a photo of the winner with the prize as a condition to their receipt of the Prize. The terms and conditions of the acknowledgement and release form are not subject to amendment. In the event of non-compliance with this paragraph, the Winner will be disqualified. Singapore Cancer Society reserves the right to draw another Participant or to cancel the Prize.

Personal Data

By participating in the Contest and/or accepting the Prize, each Participant/the Winner agree that Singapore Cancer Society and its related corporations (collectively “Singapore Cancer Society Group”) may collect and use Participants’ personal data, as well as disclose their personal data to Singapore Cancer Society Group partners for various purposes, to facilitate their participation in the Contest, including contacting them at their Singapore telephone numbers regarding their participation in the Contest. Such personal data may include without limitation a Participant’s name, telephone number, email address, personal identification, or passport number, as well as his picture, photographs, or likeness.

Singapore Cancer Society Group and its partners reserve the right to use the names, pictures, photographs or likeness of any Participant or Winner in their marketing, publicity, or promotional materials at their sole discretion without notice to the participant or the Winner or require any Participant or Winner to appear in any form of marketing, publicity, or promotional activities. Singapore Cancer Society may also use your personal data to conduct analysis on your use of our products and services  to help us improve, review, develop and efficiently manage the products and services offered to you.

By participating in this Contest, each Participant consents to Singapore Cancer Society Group and its partners’ collection, use and disclosure of the participant’s personal data for the purposes and in the manner described above.


By participating in the Contest and/or accepting the Prize, the Participant / Winner shall release, discharge and indemnify and keep Singapore Cancer Society and/or any of their Affiliates, and/or any of their respective employees, directors, officers, third party agents or representatives (collectively, "Representatives") indemnified against any and all death, injury, harm, incapacity, trauma, theft or loss (including theft or loss of property), damage, claims and costs, tax liabilities, in any manner whatsoever, suffered and/or incurred by (a) Singapore Cancer Society and/or any of their Affiliates and/or Representatives as a result of the Participant / Winner’s breach of these Terms & Conditions and the Rules and (b) the Participant / Winners and/or any person related to them (including without limitation, any travel companion) as a result of participation in this Contest and/or utilization/enjoyment of the Prize and/or any act or omission pertaining thereto.

Singapore Cancer Society's decisions on the Contest and the Winners shall be final and no correspondence will be entertained under any circumstances. In the event of a dispute, any individual’s entitlement to participate in the Contest and any Participant’s entitlement to the Prize shall be subject to the sole discretion and final determination of Singapore Cancer Society.

Singapore Cancer Society is not responsible to the Winner for the redemption of the Prize. Singapore Cancer Society shall not be liable to the Winner for damages, losses, costs or expenses, lost profits, revenue, business, or anticipated savings suffered or incurred by the Winners arising out of or in connection with the redemption of the Prize.
