Vice Chairman (April 2005 – April 2013)
Dr Ang Peng Tiam is currently practising as a Senior Consultant Medical Oncologist at Parkway Cancer Centre at Mount Elizabeth Hospital. He is also the Medical Director of Parkway Cancer Centre. He was awarded Singapore’s National Science Award in 1996 for his outstanding contributions in Medical Research. As the Chairman of the SCS Community Partnership Committee, he oversees the yearly events – ‘Race Against Cancer’ and ‘Relay for Life’. Dr Ang Peng Tiam has served on the Council for more than 10 years. He is instrumental in providing expertise and resource mobilisation to the Council. |
