We are Singapore's first and only community-based cancer rehabilitation centre, providing specialised programmes designed to meet your needs. We understand that your treatment journey may have been difficult, and as a result you may be experiencing many problems. We work with you and your caregivers so that you will learn how to manage and cope with these problems. Through our programmes and services, we hope that you are able to take charge of your life.

The first of its kind in Singapore, our rehabilitation centre provides integrated care to address the needs of cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers.

This community-based rehabilitation centre largely serves non-acute cases which do not require frequent hospital follow-up. Our rehabilitation team works with patients and caregivers to determine rehabilitation goals and craft personalised programmes.

A Holistic, Integrated, and Inter-Disciplinary Approach

Each patient's physical and cognitive needs are closely interlinked and must be treated and addressed holistically. We provide:

  • Therapy to address cognition, fatigue, lymphedema, deconditioning and pain issues
  • Comprehensive diet and nutritional support with classes and consultation

Meet Our Team:

  • Rehabilitation Physician
    The Rehabilitation Physician diagnose and assess your function, coordinates the care among the rehabilitation team and develops a rehabilitation plan for you.

  • Physiotherapist
    The Physiotherapist helps you with specific cancer treatment-related conditions such as musculoskeletal issues causing pain, movement limitations, weakness, balance issues, deconditioning and limbs swelling. In advanced stages of cancer, Physiotherapist provides advice to help you cope with breathing difficulty and secretion clearance.

  • Occupational Therapist
    The Occupational Therapist enables you to resume your participation in everyday activities that are interrupted by cancer symptoms and/or treatment-related side effects. Interventions include education and management strategies on sleep, fatigue, memory, and hand stiffness and numbness issues.

  • Speech Therapist:
    The Speech Therapist helps you with changes in articulation, voice or swallowing as a result of changes in facial, oral or throat muscles and tissues. He/she also helps with changes in language and cognitive abilities that may follow your cancer treatment, such as the ability to understand language, to express your thoughts, and to process information.

  • Dietician
    The dietitian is essential in your recovery from cancer treatment and cancer-related side effects. She will apply medical nutrition therapy that includes nutritional education and counselling, weight issue, and personalised plan to manage symptoms and dietary needs. She will use evidence-based approaches to help you identify questionable nutrition claims.

  • Exercise Physiologist
    The Exercise Physiologist provides exercise-related advice, guidance and resources that are specific to you. He will prescribe a tailored exercise programme, to help you to maintain an active lifestyle and make sure that the exercise programme is safe, effective and appropriate for you.

  • Sex Counsellor
    The Sex Counsellor addresses any sexual intimacy concerns and sexual health concerns you may have as a result of your cancer and/or treatment.

  • Social Worker
    The Social Worker assists you and your family to cope with any problems that you may be facing, including financial, emotional and social issues.

  • Art Therapist
    The Art Therapist uses art as a medium for self-expression during therapy. It is often an alternative/complementary programme to traditional counselling approach, which may be helpful towards an individual’s psyche and emotions

  • Care Navigator
    Cancer Care Navigators provide cancer patients with a personalised approach by guiding them through their recovery journey, by providing clarity and easing their anxiety, suitable programmes and services are introduced that best fit patients’ current or longer term needs.
