“Nurturing your HeART” is a weekly therapeutic art experiential session (8 sessions per run) led by our art therapist.  The sessions aim to facilitate emotional wellbeing of participants through understanding themselves and others using art.  As art provides an alternate form of self-expression when words are not good enough, using images and symbols can become powerful tools for participants to tell their stories and express their emotions to nurture the heart.  Through activities such as making a self-box, finding a safe space, identifying body map of stress and releasing tension through creative art making, it becomes a therapeutic avenue for self-expression and self-discovery.  The program also becomes a positive outlet for participants to release distressed emotions and explore strategies to cope with their stress, by harnessing inner strength within self and through the group support.

For Patients and survivors primarily, caregivers can be considered.
Registration and commitment to at least 6 sessions is required.
